Jack Cayre is one of the founders of CORE, a full-service real estate brokerage and advisory firm specializing in the purchase, sale, rental and marketing of select residential new developments and premier properties based in New York City.

Jack is also a principal at Midtown Equities, a privately-held real estate investment and development company that serves as the investment platform of the Cayre family. With a focus on prime retail properties, Midtown Equities actively acquires, develops and leases properties ranging from urban redevelopment projects to commercial centers.

In 2004, Jack met Shaun Osher while working on a new development project in Manhattan. He was instantly impressed with Shaun’s honesty and integrity. These business ethics reflected the Cayre family’s values, and soon plans were made to join forces to build a residential brokerage firm based on these pillars, with Shaun at the helm. Since 2005, under the leadership of the Cayre family and Shaun, CORE has become one of the leading boutique brokerage firms in New York City.

Jack was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and still resides there with his family. He attended The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
